Luxury all the way!

Such a nice getaway..From the wonderful equisite decor to the huge glass shower this place was amazing..So worth the money..Its so nice to have everything right there on the premises..casino, spa, restaurants and sports bar..The pictures on this website do this hotel no justice..I promise u wont be disappointed..

The hotel staff were wonderful to us, always polite & helpful. The Room, lobby, and corridors were immaculate. The decor was amazing, from the marbled floors to the pillars and arches, not to mention the paintings and art & the intricate rotunda, it was just beautiful. But my most favorite pieces of decor were the many fountains about the property. They were very pleasing to the senses. At the end of the day our guest room was completely comfortable & relaxing. The bedding was soft & fresh. There were four pillows for each bed, a very comfortable overstuffed chair and ottoman, thick plush towels, spacey Bathroom Including beautiful vanity, very large rain shower bathing area, & enclosed toilet room with a second phone for those calls that just can't wait. They had glass glasses to drink out of & a nice small desk/work area. We had a beautiful view from our hotel room overlooking the river and down town. The hotel had great overall climate control throughout the facility. It felt great to escape the intense heat of summer. The parking garage was well lit and a short walk from the hotel area past the casino area through a temperature controlled hallway. We were in town for a concert with the kids & with the directions from hotel staff had to drive 10 minutes to find the nearest 24 hr eating establishments & gas station afterwards but the Hotel was definitely a nice place to relax after enjoying Kansas City.

4/8/10 - My husband and I spent only one night at the hotel but it was the best night ever. We celebrated our five year anniversary. From the time we walked into the hotel lobby with the wonderful smells of fragant flowers, to the welcoming ladies at the front desk, the room call we got after only being in the room a short time to make sure everything was up to our expectations, we knew we picked the right hotel. I asked for a room with a view and had a great downtown view. The room was wonderful, yes all of the other reviews that we read said the bathroom was awesome, they sure got that that right. Who knew a hotel would have double doors leading into the bath and a shower that could fit probably 8-10 people. It was plush, lavish and very peaceful. I have to say at night the floor was so quite that I could hardly sleep because I'm used to a hotel with lots of noise. We had dinner at the The Journey with food that was wonderful and service that was great as well. In the morning we had breakfast buffet at Terrace Buffet and the selections and freshness was great. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Argosy Hotel for making my five year wedding anniversary a memorable one. We will most definitely be back to visit soon.

My husband and I had to be in Kansas City for business and since we didn't really know the area I turned to the internet and I booked the Argosy, in part, because of the traveler reviews. I was not disappointed! The room was fabulous and we ate at all 3 restaurants on site and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed our short stay and would recommend it to everyone.

My husband and I stayed at the Argosy for our 2nd anniversary. The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were great and the shower... awesome!! We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Oh, there's just one thing, the trains. Trains are non-stop and also like to stop in front of the only road into the casino. Kinda frustrating but it still a lovely hotel.
